A 96-year-old woman wants to sell her house. The realtor can’t believe what he found inside.

It’s said that still waters run deep. This seemingly typical house in a suburb of Toronto, Canada is evidence that this saying could very well be true. A 96-year-old woman calls this innocuous-looking place home.

It is with a heavy heart that she has decided to move out due to her age. She has lived in the house for 72 years and has only remodeled it once. But once is enough when it looks like this inside!

  1. I could love this house exactly as it is. Wouldn’t change anything. The sad part is, some fool will buy it, sell all the furniture, repaint and make it completely different. That would be not only a shame, but a crime to boot.

    • It sure is. It’s particularly sad when old people who have paid off their homes have to move because of property taxes. I would rather see a hefty tax when it’s sold, rather than high taxes all along. Here in New Jersey, we have the highest property taxes in the US and this happens every day.

  2. If i could afford this beautiful home, i would not change a thing 🙂 i love all that beautiful old style, I think it would be cozy just the way it is, love the colors.
    Wold change a thing 🙂 ♡♡♡♡♡

  3. I would get rid of the UGLY tile. I HATE TILE OF ANY KIND. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. Put in hardwood floors The rest is so cute. Like a dollhouse.

  4. Oh my gosh I have died and gone to heaven…. My dream home .. sigh if only I had money 🙁 still Nice to know the lady got to live my dream… so so sorry she has to leave it … hope she will be happy in her future xx

  5. I used to be a van driver for Senior Enrichment Services. I had a couple clients whose homes were beautifully-kept museums of past popular styles.

  6. WOW! Love everything except for the kitchen tile and the laundry. I could see how creative she is. Too bad i am not from canada and dont have $650,000. 😕
